Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead to drive development, support, and continuous improvement of an industrial automation platform. You will lead a team, set engineering standards, and own architecture, design, and production readiness across integrated systems including robotics, PLCs, databases, and enterprise apps.

The role requires strong C#, .NET skills, and a track record of leading engineers, with a focus on reliability, incidents, and measurable uptime

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in a lead, senior, or technical leadership role.
• Strong C# and object-oriented design experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET platforms.
• Experience leading software projects and mentoring engineers.
• Expertise in debugging, log analysis, root cause analysis, and incident response.
• Experience with SQL databases, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers through coaching, technical guidance, and code reviews.
• Establish engineering standards, development best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Drive architecture, technical design, modernization initiatives, and project execution.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Standard 2.0, and .NET 6+.
• Lead integrations between host software, robotics systems, PLCs, machine controllers, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Provide technical leadership during production incidents and critical system outages.
• Lead root cause investigations using application logs, machine logs, controller diagnostics, and telemetry data.
• Drive testing, quality, release readiness, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Controls, QA, Manufacturing, Operations, and Product teams.
