Lincoln Electric is seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead to drive development, support, and continuous improvement of an industrial automation platform. You will lead a team, set engineering standards, and own architecture, design, and production readiness across integrated systems including robotics, PLCs, databases, and enterprise apps.

The role requires strong C#, .NET skills, and a track record of leading engineers, with a focus on reliability, incidents, and measurable uptime

Formación

• 7+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in a lead, senior, or technical leadership role.
• Strong C# and object-oriented design experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET platforms.
• Experience leading software projects and mentoring engineers.
• Expertise in debugging, log analysis, root cause analysis, and incident response.
• Experience with SQL databases, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Team Lead to lead the development, support, and continuous improvement of an industrial automation platform that orchestrates machine operations, robotic workflows, and operator-facing applications. This role combines technical leadership, software architecture, and operational ownership while remaining actively involved in design, coding, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ABB RAPID, PLCs, machine controllers, or industrial communications.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or 24/7 production systems.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational support practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading adoption of AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, and documentation practices.
