Job summary

SECU is seeking an IT Application Engineer to develop advanced solutions that meet the demands of the Credit Union. This role involves leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and implementing technical solutions across teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least 5 years of experience and strong SQL, JavaScript, and API integration skills. This hybrid position requires participation in in-person meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer and Information Systems.
• 5+ years of relevant IT Engineering leadership experience.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex projects.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.

Skills

Strong SQL skills for data analysis

Strong analytical skills

Collaborative and team player attitude
