Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join an agile team delivering trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment. You will design, build, and troubleshoot cloud-native microservices, emphasizing resilience and performance.

Responsibilities include end-to-end development, domain modeling, secure production code, and driving best practices across software engineering communities. Banking domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience including system design and operations.
• Back-end focus with Python; full-stack capabilities preferred (HTML, CSS, JS, TS, React/Angular).
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong debugging, code reviews, and ability to solve complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions and troubleshoot end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based applications.
• Model domains to build scalable, testable business products.
• Write secure production code and review others' code.
• Automate remediation to improve operational stability of software and systems.
• Lead communities of practice to share new technologies and promote inclusive team culture.
• Investigate issues promptly and keep systems current with modern patterns.
• Design architectures to avoid single points of failure and enable zero-downtime releases.
