Job summary

The role focuses on maintaining and extending surface management software (C++/Java) on UNIX/Linux, developing user interface frameworks, and integrating with other systems.

You will work in an Agile Scrum environment, support system engineering, and pursue a public trust clearance for access to sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
• Experience in C++ and Java object‑oriented design and development.
• Experience with Git, Subversion or CVS.
• Experience on UNIX/Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain FAA air traffic control display software in C++/Java on UNIX/Linux.
• Perform software development for the TFDM system as needed.
• Provide support for system engineering activities.
• Develop UI framework design for client/server components.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment.
