Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Starship Manufacturing (Application Software). You will own critical manufacturing and flight software solutions used across Starship production and Starlink systems, driving rapid build and reuse of Starship while shaping next-gen manufacturing software.

You will lead a team of engineers, mentor staff, and collaborate with leaders to deliver reliable systems on ambitious schedules and complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in CS/engineering/math or science with 3+ years software development; or 6+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ year of object-oriented programming experience.
• 1+ year of leading software teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of software engineers.
• Own all aspects of a system roadmap, including prioritization and delivery.
• Provide strong technical leadership with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple priorities while aligning to project goals.
