Job summary

Private Label Staff is seeking a Lead Software Developer in Florida to guide the architecture, design, and delivery of software for complex financial processes. The role requires leadership experience and a strong command of relational databases, especially Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.

The successful candidate will translate business requirements into scalable solutions, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 5+ years with development technologies and relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience building applications for complex business processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development efforts for applications supporting complex financial business processes.
• Analyze existing business functions and processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.
• Assist with process redesign, system enhancements, and business transformation initiatives.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain robust, scalable software applications.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure code quality, reliability, and adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues using established tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Establish and promote development best practices, coding standards, documentation, and consistent methodologies.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and effective software solutions.
