Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Lead Software Developer to advance modeling and simulation projects within the Threat Modeling and Simulation Portfolio for EO/IR sensor systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and scientists, and other developers; write software primarily in C++ and C# and ensure quality across Windows and Linux environments.

This role requires strong OO programming, problem solving, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance, with US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong object-oriented programming and C++/C# skills.
• Experience with Git and software design principles.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• 4–8 years of related experience.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville
