Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Data Platform & Entitlements to advance trusted, scalable technology across multiple business functions. You will contribute as a core technical leader, delivering production-ready code and architectural designs that align with enterprise standards.

You will guide the team in AI-assisted development, secure coding, and resilient cloud-native solutions on AWS/GCP/Azure, while collaborating with stakeholders to meet ambitious business

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data), RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Demonstrated leadership in using AI-assisted development tools with code validation for correctness, performance and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and secure handling.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in designing relational data models and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and financial services IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex data platform applications.
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and ensure secure coding standards.
