Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer Data Platform & Entitlements within the Commercial and Investment Bank to drive trusted technologies that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will be an integral part of an agile team delivering production-grade systems.

You will lead the design and development of data models, RESTful services, microservices, and AI-assisted engineering practices, mentoring engineers and ensuring robust CI/CD, security, and compliance

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, microservices, and Kafka.
Experience leading AI-assisted software development tools and secure coding practices.
Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data modeling for relational databases.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains data-driven algorithms running with systems.
Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability.
Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation and value.
Produces architecture and design artifacts, ensuring constraints are met by code.
Identifies hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
