Job summary

State Street is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to contribute to the Enterprise Investment Performance Calculation Engine and related Info Delivery components. You will build Cloud-based DW solutions for North America, providing technical leadership and scalable data pipelines.

The role involves collaborating with global engineers, optimizing cost, and supporting AI/ML data delivery for BI needs. Onsite with some remote flexibility and a strong emphasis on architecture and code quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject with 8+ years of Experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across architecture, system design, and code quality.
Design, build & maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure, DataBricks & Snowflake.
Work with a global team to deliver reliable features for AI/ML models and BI data.
Support platform accelerators and design patterns for Operations teams.
Release automation for code distribution to client regions/instances.
Optimize total cost of ownership for compute and platform infrastructure.
Oversee overnight processing of investment accounting and performance data.
