State Street is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Enterprise Investment Performance Calculation Engine and related Info Delivery components. This role focuses on building cloud-based data solutions for North America clients.

You will lead technical direction, design scalable pipelines on Azure/DataBricks/Snowflake, and collaborate with a global team to deliver high-quality data for BI, AI/ML models and business insights.

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer/IT with 8+ years of experience.
• Onsite with 4 days in office and one day remote.
• Experience leading architecture, design and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across architecture, system design, and code quality; mentor team.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure, DataBricks & Snowflake.
• Collaborate with global engineers and analysts to deliver reliable data for BI and AI/ML models.
• Support implementation/operations teams with platform accelerators and design patterns.
• Release engineering automation for code distribution across client regions.
• Optimize total cost of ownership for compute and platform infrastructure.
• Oversee overnight COB/SOB processing for Investment/Fund/Performance data and client info delivery.
• Perform impact analysis, root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a lead software engineer who can contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Enterprise Investment Performance Calculation Engine and associated Info Delivery components. Candidate will be working on building Cloud based DW solutions for F2B clients in North America Region.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will

• Provide technical leadership and oversight across architecture, system design, and code quality, including proof of concepts, code reviews and mentoring
• Design, Build & Maintain Scalable Data Pipelines on Azure, DataBricks & Snowflake.
• Work closely with a global team of engineers/ Operational analysts to provide reliable feature sets for AI/ML models and deliver high-quality data for business intelligence.
• Support implementation/Operations teams with platform accelerators and design patterns.
• Release Engineering automation for code distribution to different client regions/instances
• Optimize the total cost of ownership (Compute & Platform Infrastructure Cost).
• Production/support in overnight COB/SOB processing of Investment accounting/Fund Accounting & Performance data and manage Client Info Delivery.
• Address data issues, environment issues, performing impact analysis, root cause analysis, corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance

Salary Range

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
