Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a senior software engineering leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications. You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and shape cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and modern frontend frameworks.

You will explore AI-driven capabilities with Azure OpenAI and contribute to scalable, secure architectures while maintaining strong production operations and API service development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least 6 years of software development experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams, mentoring developers, providing technical direction, and coordinating delivery across multiple functional groups.
• Professional experience developing enterprise applications with C#, .NET or .NET Core, and SQL Server.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Azure and the ability to design, develop, and support cloud-based applications.
• Recent professional experience building user interfaces with React or Angular 2+ within the past two years.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, maintainable enterprise applications translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience supporting production applications, diagnosing issues, monitoring performance, and implementing proactive fixes.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI is highly preferred for integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, modern software engineering practices, and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities

- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor software engineers, promote collaboration and accountability, conduct code reviews, and encourage continuous improvement across the engineering team.

- Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into implementation plans and deliver projects successfully.

- Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL Server, alongside responsive user interfaces built with React or Angular 2+.

- Cloud Engineering and Architecture: Build and support cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure, contributing to architecture decisions, application modernization, and solutions that prioritize scalability, reliability, performance, and security.

- AI Integration: Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities using Azure OpenAI, integrating emerging technologies into enterprise applications where appropriate.

Requirements:

- Industry Background: Experience in healthcare is a plus, with dental industry experience particularly relevant.

- Location and Working Hours: Must reside and work within the United States and be available during Pacific Time business hours.

Benefits:

- Annual Base Salary: $135,000–$145,000, excluding benefits and potential bonuses. Final compensation depends on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
