Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the CTO Identity & Access Engineering team. You will be a core technical contributor in an agile security software environment, building trusted, scalable products for global cybersecurity and regulatory controls.

You will lead the development of secure production code, review peers, and push for AI-assisted practices to enhance quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes across the team.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in C#, Python, or Rust and SQL/Kafka.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security in Agile environments.
• Cloud-native security management in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
• Understands cybersecurity and regulatory controls for a global financial services org.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and defines validation standards.
• Uses SDLC tools and AI capabilities to improve automation and value.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability of software.
