Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 7 years of related experience.
• Five years of backend Java development experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases is required.
• Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ for real-time data pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and autoscaling tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams including Product Owners.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive decisions on product design, functionality, and operational aspects.
• Ensure quality via unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Mentor junior engineers on coding standards and best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate to align requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Conduct technical interviews to assess candidates' skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Research new automation methods through study and industry conferences.
