Job summary

JPMorganChase is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for the CDAO's AI/ML Data Platform team in Seattle. You will help build trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment, delivering high-impact solutions within an agile context.

You will lead design and coding efforts, drive AI-assisted development practices, and mentor engineers to ensure reliability and performance of 24x7 online services across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Strong coding and system design for modern enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Rust, Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools with setting team expectations.
• Understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality, speed, and reliability.
• Improve SDLC tooling and automation and promote reuse of patterns.
• Lead design decisions and operate 24x7 online services.
