Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Chief Data and Analytics Office in Seattle. You will be a core technical contributor responsible for building scalable, secure, and trusted technology products, and you will mentor juniors while collaborating across the organization to solve business problems.

You will architect solutions for AI/ML platforms, deploy tooling for ML models, and enhance observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience delivering design, development, testing and operations.
• Strong automations and CD/CI capabilities.
• Experience with GCP and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions to enhance reliability and scalability of AI/ML platforms.
• Create tooling and services to safely deploy and operate ML models.
• Build monitoring and observability to track model performance and data quality.
• Automate repetitive tasks and build self-healing systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve production issues.
• Take ownership of problems and acquire new knowledge.
