Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Plano to drive development across secure, scalable product teams.

You will architect and deliver high-quality production code, lead AI-assisted tooling adoption, and partner with security and platform teams to advance capabilities across the enterprise. You will guide engineers through SDLC, implement resilient and compliant solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders on architecture, deployments, and day-2 support.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years in privilege access management.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficient in SDLC and agile methods including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Hands-on with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to break complex problems.
• Develops secure production code, reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development, to improve automation.
• Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectures.
• Designs and develops Privilege Access Management solutions with identity governance.
• Deploys security solutions and provides Level 3 support and technical leadership.
• Partners with stakeholders, performs POC, and tests new functionality.
• Writes technical documents for production support and serves as POC.
• Analyzes business requirements and collaborates across cross-functional teams.
