JP Morgan Chase in Jersey City seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive secure, scalable software solutions in the Consumer & Community Banking domain. You will lead implementation for Java backend services, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures while integrating AI-assisted development practices and robust testing.

You will influence architectural decisions, performance optimization, and ensure secure handling of data across distributed systems, contributing to market-leading technology

Competenze

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including security considerations.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development and Spring Boot in production environments.
• Proven ability in system design for scalable, secure services using microservices and API-driven architectures.
• Strong engineering fundamentals including OOP, design patterns, concurrency, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Solid testing discipline encompassing unit and integration testing, automation, and code quality practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, C#, and experience with LLMs and generative AI.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (relational/NoSQL).
• Experience with testing tools (JUnit, UDF, Tophat, Cucumber, Groovy, Postman, REST Assured).
