• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge of Java or Python.
• Experience with React front-end development.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools and setting team expectations.
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure handling of data; mentoring engineers.
• Proficient in all SDLC aspects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of financial services IT.

• Executes innovative software solutions, design, development, and debugging to solve complex problems.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and reliability.
