Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Corporate Data and Analytics Services group within Corporate Technology. You will be a core technical contributor, delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way.

As a senior member of an agile team, you will guide design and development, review code, and drive AI-assisted engineering practices across the SDLC to improve quality and velocity.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with design, development, testing, and operations.
Advanced in Java and Python; experience leading AI-assisted development tools.
Strong knowledge of modern SDLC, CI/CD, security, and resiliency expectations.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions with design, development, and troubleshooting.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews teammates' work.
Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value.
Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues for stability.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture.
