Job summary

Modern Campus is seeking a Team Lead, Software Development in the United States to lead a small, high-performing Scrum team building and modernizing enterprise SaaS applications. Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software development with leadership experience.
• Hands-on software development background.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, SDLC, CI/CD, testing, and production support.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI coding agents or agentic development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Scrum team of 4–7 engineers and mentor team members.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with Product and QA.
• Provide technical direction and architectural decisions within the team.
• Remain hands-on with design, coding, code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Champion agentic development practices and AI coding agents.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Systems, and Security to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
