Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Iselin, NJ. This is a 23+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead complex, large-scale initiatives within the Software Engineering organization with a focus on CI/CD and DevSecOps.
2. Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
3. Align delivery with enterprise-wide non-functional requirements (NFRs), SLAs, and security policies in collaboration with Infrastructure, Operations, and Infosec teams.
4. Evaluate and address tech debt, IT risk, and reliability issues while setting and enforcing platform engineering standards.
5. Support incident, change, and defect management processes to ensure production stability and delivery excellence.
6. Build secure CI/CD pipelines integrating build, test, deployment, and monitoring stages using Jenkins, Harness, UCD, Maven, Gradle, and GitHub.
7. Architect DevSecOps strategies and implement tooling such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, GitLab, and Black Duck.
8. Deploy and manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
9. Utilize cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, and OpenShift (OCP) for scalable deployments.
10. Monitor performance and compliance using ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics, and Liquibase.
11. Establish operational models, frameworks, and best practices for seamless production integration.
12. Collaborate cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, and development teams to meet enterprise compliance and reliability requirements.
13. Conduct performance benchmarking, metrics tracking, and SLA enforcement across environments.
14. Contribute to Agile delivery and operational excellence using Jira, Confluence, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of experience in SecDevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, and enterprise platform engineering.
2. 7+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift containers.
3. 7+ years of experience using Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE.
4. 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, OpenShift (OCP).
5. 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Harness, UCD, GitHub, Maven, Gradle.
6. 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools: SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, Black Duck.
7. 5+ years of experience with deployment/logging/monitoring tools: ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics, Liquibase.
8. 5+ years of proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, Shell.
9. 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, RestAssured, Postman.
10. 3+ years of experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments using Jira and Confluence.

Pay Range:

$66 - $76
