Virtusa Corporation is seeking a QA automation engineer with hands-on experience using AI-powered assistants to accelerate test automation, design, and debugging. The role requires proficiency in Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, TestNG, and Cypress, plus strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript or Python and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Experience with API testing tools (REST Assured, Postman) and CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions) is essential.

\"Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered developer and testing assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or similar) to accelerate test automation development, test design, debugging, and code quality while applying sound engineering judgment to validate AI-generated solutions.

Proficiency in one or more automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG, Cypress, or similar.

Good programming skills in Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages, with experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar database technologies.

Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Karate, Postman, or equivalent tools.

Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and experience integrating automated tests with GitHub Actions or similar platforms.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of software testing principles, including functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, security, and performance testing.
