Job summary

Franklin Fitch in Chicago is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications hosted in Azure. You will own architecture decisions across infrastructure, application design and integrations, and lead technical discussions with engineers to justify trade-offs.

The role requires strong experience with Azure services and end-to-end Azure solutions, a solid background in C#, and ideally React.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable enterprise applications fully hosted in Azure
• Own architecture decisions across infrastructure, application design, and integrations
• Select and implement appropriate Azure services and PaaS solutions
• Define and optimise CI/CD pipelines, security layers, and system performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture
• Lead technical discussions and clearly communicate design rationale and trade-offs
