Summary Description

Overview

• Push Payments Development team owns applications focused on Mastercard Send.
• Mastercard Send is an API-based application for P2P and Disbursement transactions, integrated with Mastercard core applications.
• Responsible for analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
• Develop, customize, and test applications per Mastercard specifications.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical training to team members.

Role

• Accountable for systems development supporting Mastercard Send initiatives.
• Plan, design, and develop technical solutions meeting business requirements following Mastercard standards and best practices.
• Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies and frameworks.
• Participate in PoCs and assist in vendor solution selection.

All About You

• High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication, relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar.
• Willingness to learn and work in a diverse, distributed team.
• Experience with digital payments, especially P2P and disbursements.
• Advanced experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Web Services, REST, JSON, Apache, JUnit, Maven, AngularJS, Microservices, SoapUI, Log4j, JBoss7, Azure.

Skills:

Lead experience with Spring Boot, Java, Cloud (preferably PCF), RESTful APIs, microservices.

Required/Bonus Skills from Intake Notes

• Top 3 required skills: Java, Spring, PCF, Cloud Technologies, JavaScript, Hibernate.
• Nice-to-have skills: Application design, Jenkins scripting, BlazeMeter, NoSQL databases.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Disqualifiers: No Java experience, less than 7 years of experience, lack of leadership experience.
