About The Role

Position Title: Lead, Software Development
Location: Hybrid 2 days per week onsite; Princeton, NJ; New York, NY; Charlottesville, VA; Englewood, CO; Raleigh, NC.

Team Overview

Join the Corporate Finance IT EPM Team, which manages Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. The team handles Financial Reporting, Revenue, Corporate, Statutory, and Tax reporting, Chart of Accounts & Hierarchies Master Data management (EDMCS), Consolidations (FCCS), Reconciliations (ARCS), Finance Cubes development and management (EPBCS), and Financial Close processes in a tech‑functional project environment.

Impact

The role supports business in overseeing accounting period close and consolidation processes through administration of financial systems. It requires a thorough understanding of systems/technology needed for reporting, reconciliation, audit requests, and ensuring compliance with SOX policies and procedures related to financial accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Administrator for Oracle EPM modules such as FCCS, PBCS, ARCS, and custom applications.
  • Support financial professionals (Corporate Controllers, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Divisional Finance) to achieve defined outcomes.
  • Work with cutting‑edge technologies, including automation and agentic initiatives.
  • Participate in M&A/Divestitures, new projects, design reviews, solution workshops, QA, and solution recommendations.
  • Handle confidential, non‑public data and information.
  • Maintain flexible working hours based on monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting periods and priority issue resolution.
  • Submit audit requests on a timely basis.
  • Document all processes.
  • Ensure high accuracy and effective workload management; meet critical deadlines.
  • Work independently with clear accountability for processes/tasks performed.
  • Learn new systems and processes as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
  • Required degree with minimum 6 years of experience and financial knowledge.
  • Hands‑on experience in Oracle EPM (PBCS, FCCS, or ARCS).
  • Experience with EPM SmartView and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal finance and IT partners at all levels, including executive management.
  • Proactive issue resolution and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
  • Deliverations marked by accuracy.
  • Independent work with clear accountability and sound escalation judgment.
  • Nice to know: Oracle EPM EDMCS or EPCM modules.
  • Nice to have knowledge of process automation tools, HFM, agile teams, and agile processes.

Compensation & Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)

S&P Global anticipates a base salary range of $140,000 – $160,000, with final salary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
