Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Lead Software Architect to maintain and expand a network of simulators and modeling capabilities supporting rehearsal and exercise capabilities for multiple units across the country.

You will lead a Scrum team, manage CI/CD, transition to infrastructure-as-code and containerization (Docker), guide cross-language integration (Java/C++/C#), ensure TS/SCI clearance, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Java, C++, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience as a technical lead or architect.
• Experience designing and architecting software systems, including integrating multiple applications.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD or DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience with containerization such as Docker and infrastructure as code.
• Experience leading an Agile Scrum team.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software engineering team in compiling and running source code and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline.
• Break down operational requirements into manageable tasks in JIRA and set the technical direction across languages.
• Guide integration with other applications and simulations and drive innovation initiatives.
• Transition the program to infrastructure-as-code and containerized environments; mentor engineers and review designs.
• Provide onsite support as needed and lead by example on an Agile Scrum team.
