Philips is seeking a Systems Architect for Medical Ultrasound Hardware in Cambridge, MA or Bothell, WA. You will shape imaging platform architectures by integrating hardware, software, imaging, and transducers with clinical needs to deliver safe, reliable, and scalable solutions.

You will lead system-level studies, define verification strategies, and mentor engineers while balancing performance, power, cost, and sustainability.

Competenze

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred.
• 5+ years in Ultrasound System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with lifecycle management, regulatory requirements, and risk management.

Mansioni

• Create and evolve imaging platform architectures for diagnostic ultrasound products.
• Lead system-level trade studies balancing image quality, power, thermal, and cost.
• Evaluate new compute, GPU, acquisition, signal-path, and transducer-interface technologies.
• Define integration and verification strategies to identify interface issues and mitigate risks.
• Communicate architecture decisions and mentor engineers on systems thinking.
