Qualifications

5+ years of relevant and practical experience
Expert programming skills in multiple languages or software tools
Expert knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end frameworks
Knowledge of design patterns for IaC
Knowledge of design patterns with Version Control, DevOps and CI/CD
Proficiency in monitoring and alerting
C/C++ in a Unix environment
AIX / Unix

Responsibilities

Design software architecture
Deliver high-complexity development tasks as part of a team
Lead and influence collaborative meetings with peers and stakeholders
Create requirements and demonstrate work with stakeholders
Document code and establish software product engineering best practices
Review and correct others’ work
Act as a knowledge resource within the team
Lead and define priorities for projects or processes
Design, code and debug applications in various software languages or tools
Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage and work processes
Perform unit and integration testing
Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to define, design and ship features
Write and maintain technical documentation
Research technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance
Participate in project planning and estimate timeframes and resource requirements
Manage tasks and deadlines for timely project delivery
Ensure software security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Implement data protection and security measures
Gather customer or end-user requirements and provide support
Translate customer requirements into technical specifications
Continuously improve development processes and methodologies
Engage in continuous learning and professional development
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
