Job summary

Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is seeking a Head Softball Coach and Facilities Coordinator to oversee the softball program and all athletic facilities. You will supervise staff and student athletes, recruit players, manage budgets, plan practices, and coordinate facility scheduling while ensuring NCAA, ECAC, NECC and Title IX compliance.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with athletics/recreation background; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills;

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as athletic facilities coordinator.
• Coordinate scheduling of facilities with internal and external users.
• Prepare and manage annual budget.
• Recruit, supervise, schedule, and manage student payroll for Maguire desk workers.
• Liaise with campus community and committees.
• Maintain facilities and ensure compliance with safety and health permits.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, ECAC, NECC rules and Title IX.
