Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.

• Knowledge of technical aspects of softball and openness to new theories and procedures.
• Must be a positive role model for student-athletes through instruction and actions.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement athletic policies approved by the board and school.
• Supervise and coordinate staff of coaches with athletic director and principal.
• Lead staff meetings, clinics and conferences to ensure program awareness and development.
• Maintain discipline and morale; delegate duties and evaluate staff performance.
• Provide guidance and training to student managers, assistants and statisticians.
