Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned SOC Lieutenant to lead a team of SOC Operators in our Portland operations. You will oversee daily SOC activities, coordinate incident responses, and ensure compliance with post orders and procedures.

The role requires calm leadership under pressure, strong decision-making and collaboration with law enforcement, EMS, and other stakeholders. Travel to field sites and site visits are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of SOC/GSOC/ESOC/EOC security operations experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Experience responding to security incidents, emergencies and medical events.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, access control and alarm monitoring systems.
• Proficient in reviewing incident reports and making operational decisions.
• Active Security Guard Card, CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of SOC Operators (approx. 9–10).
• Provide leadership during daily operations and emergencies.
• Coordinate incident response and ensure procedures are followed.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems for optimal performance.
• Review incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct site visits and support field personnel as needed.
