Job summary

Anodize is a stealth startup building a next-generation end-to-end computing platform driven by a custom high-performance edge SoC. You will own the top-level system architecture and provide technical direction for our core engineering team and external partners.

As Lead SoC Architect, you will guide architecture decisions, collaborate with a Tier-1 ASIC design house, and ensure our design meets ambitious performance and power targets.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of system-level design experience for complex SoCs, including tapeouts on advanced nodes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Arm architecture and AMBA protocols (CHI, AXI, ACE).
  • Ability to write meticulous specifications and work with vendors to meet aggressive performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Own the SoC Architecture: translate product requirements into an executable engineering blueprint and ensure the frontend team sets the right bar.
  • Drive System Integration: collaborate with the team to integrate compute, fabric, serdes, etc.
  • Manage Architectural Trade-offs: balance thermal constraints, performance goals, and power efficiency.
  • Guide Execution: audit floorplanning, timing closure, and routing to preserve architectural intent with the ASIC partner.
