Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Hexagon Smart Instrumentation Lead Administrator to oversee installation, configuration, and operation of SI systems across global projects. You will ensure data integrity and alignment with engineering standards, supporting complex facilities including nuclear-related work.

The role collaborates with I&C engineering, IT, and project teams to drive standardization, upgrades, and reliable instrumentation data delivery. Hybrid work options available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years administering Hexagon Smart Instrumentation in EPC or regulated environments.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of I&C workflows, data structures, specifications, deliverables, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Smart Instrumentation.
• Maintain SI standards, reference data, plant structures, naming conventions, templates, and rule sets for consistent instrumentation data.
• Manage security, access, roles, and permissions, configure deliverable standards for indexes, datasheets, loop drawings, wiring data, hook-ups, calibration data, and reports.
• Support project setup, execution, and lifecycle management with I&C engineering, delivery teams, and engineering systems leadership.
• Enable production of Instrument indexes, datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, wiring reports, junction boxes and marshaling data, and specification packages.
