Job summary

Daisy Gulf Coast is hiring its first Lead Smart Home Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service audio, video, lighting, motorized shades, control and networking systems in residential and select commercial locations. You’ll regularly interface with clients, represent the Daisy brand, and build trusted relationships that improve their lives through technology.

You’ll work directly with the owner, help set installation standards for a brand-new branch, and own the Daisy Care maintenance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV, networking, or technology integration experience.
• Control4 certification strongly preferred.
• Motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
• Able to work independently, lead jobs, and mentor future team members.
• Valid Mississippi or Alabama driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and product manuals for installs.
• Manage support, end-user training, troubleshooting, and escalation.
• Help shape installation standards during weekly team meetings.
• Travel to job sites, use tools safely, and maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with builders, designers, and clients to deliver projects.
• Communicate progress daily with the project manager.
