Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist to perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing. Responsible for data collection, artifact management, and patient education across neonatal to geriatric patients.

Position requires credentialing in sleep technology and the ability to supervise staff, along with adherence to safety and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Accredited sleep technology program leading to a certificate or associate degree.
• Sleep technology credentialing required (Polysomnography Technologist License or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up sleep studies.
• Verify patient identity and obtain consent for testing.
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to standards.
• Score sleep/wake stages per AASM guidelines.
• Generate accurate sleep study reports.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and infection control.
