Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners in Troy, NY, seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technician for the Sleep Center on a full-time night shift. The role leads sleep testing procedures and contributes to top-quality records in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds an AAS in Polysomnography with RPSGT certification (or a Respiratory Therapy AAS with NYS license and RPSGT preferred) and has 1–3 years of sleep lab experience, strong communication, and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a valid Polysomnogram License in NYS.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy License in NYS. Sleep disorder specialist adds on or are registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sleep testing procedures and ensure high-quality records.
• Act as a resource for Licensed Polysomnography Technicians.

Education

AAS Polysomnography with RPSGT and NYS license

AAS Respiratory Therapy with NYS license; RPSGT preferred
