Job summary

Loveland Group in Colorado seeks a Returning Applicants Only for a part-time, seasonal Ski Patrol Guide Operations Supervisor. You will lead Dry Gulch cat tours, supervise guides, and ensure safety coverage with first aid capabilities for skiers and snowboarders.

Assist Patrol Directors, develop guiding procedures, assess snowpack, and coordinate emergency response. Strong communication, leadership, and outdoor safety skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous Ski Guide or outdoor group management experience.
• Previous Ski Patrol supervisor experience preferred.
• Possess EMT and/or Outdoor Emergency Care certifications.
• Pass FELC background check and obtain CDLE Type 1 Explosives Permit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute Dry Gulch cat tours.
• Evaluate and select snow cat guides; supervise patrollers.
• Provide training for patrollers in guide responsibilities.
• Guide skiers in backcountry terrain and perform avalanche control/rescue.
• Identify hazards and ensure skier safety and communication.
