Job summary

Champion Construction Services, a division of Champion Home Builder, Inc, in the NEW YORK region, seeks a Jobsite Superintendent to assist the Project Manager and oversee daily site operations.

You will coordinate materials, direct subcontractors, review quality, and maintain look-ahead schedules, safety logs, and punch lists while traveling to multiple sites. 5+ years of construction experience and OSHA/PPE knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience including residential construction and directing work crews.
• Must have reasonable knowledge of OSHA requirements and PPE.
• Must be able to read drawing prints.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check.
• DOT knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Project Manager for daily tasks.
• Assist in managing flow of materials to the job site and ensure timely delivery and proper staging.
• Direct subcontractors and maintain a look-ahead schedule.
• Review and inspect quality of work from Champion's factories and subcontractors.
• Create punch lists and coordinate resolution with subcontractors.
• Coordinate and resolve warranty work from Champion's factory/subcontractors.
• May perform minor warranty work and must be experienced in manufactured home production/repair.
• Maintain job site work logs, daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and safety documentation.
• Perform safety inspections per Champion's safety plan.
• Lead toolbox talks with job-site trades.
• Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
• Perform other duties as needed by the Project Manager.
