Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Jobsite Superintendent to support the Project Manager in executing residential and commercial construction across the New York region.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage look-ahead schedules, and verify workmanship aligns with drawings and quality standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a solid knowledge of OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience including residential construction.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and PPE.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle background check. DOT knowledge preferred.
• Preference shown to candidates with knowledge of local building codes (2009 IRC, UPC, IMC, 2011 NEC).

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Project Manager for the execution of daily tasks.
• Assist in managing the flow of materials from suppliers and within the job site; ensure on-time delivery and proper staging.
• Assist in directing subcontractors and maintaining a look-ahead schedule.
• Review and inspect quality of work from Champion's factories and subcontractors.
• Create punch lists and coordinate resolution with subcontractors.
• Coordinate warranty work from factory and subcontractors.
• Perform safety inspections and lead toolbox talks.
• Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
