Job summary

Champion Construction Services, a div of Champion Home Builder, Inc, is seeking a Jobsite Superintendent for the NEW YORK region. The role supports the Project Manager in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.

Travel across multiple job sites is required as part of daily duties. Essential duties include coordinating materials, directing subcontractors, maintaining look-ahead schedules, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience including residential construction
• Must be able to read drawing prints
• Must have a reasonable knowledge of OSHA requirements and understand the required PPE for various tasks
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check. DOT knowledge is preferred
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Project Manager for the execution of daily tasks.
• Assist in managing the flow of materials from suppliers and within the job site.
• Assist in directing subcontractors in their daily work and maintaining a look-ahead schedule.
• Review and inspect the quality of work from Champion's factories and subcontractors.
• Create punch lists and coordinate their completion with subcontractors.
• Assist in the coordination and resolution of warranty work from Champion's factory and subcontractors.
• Maintain job site work logs and daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and safety documentation.
• Perform safety inspections per Champion's safety plan.
• Lead toolbox talks with all job site trades.
• Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
