Job summary

PSR Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading structural steel contractor to recruit an experienced Site Superintendent for Florida projects. You will own on-site operations, driving safety, schedule, and quality across complex commercial and infrastructure developments.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination of subcontractors, and the ability to travel throughout Florida as needed. Experience in structural steel is highly desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site construction teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proven track record in project reporting and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities.
• Oversee project sequencing, installation, and day-to-day site operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure projects remain on programme and within budget.
• Manage schedules, site logistics, and workforce planning.
• Support pre-construction planning, mobilisation, and project start-up.
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and project performance.
