Job summary

CenCore Group is seeking a Site Security Manager (SSM) to oversee day-to-day security operations at a cleared, 24/7 data center construction site. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, local, customer, and contract security requirements while protecting personnel and assets.

You will supervise unarmed security staff, support audits, training, and documentation, and act as Campus Security Manager as needed to cover staffing gaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Site Security Manager or equivalent supervisory security role.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
• Experience supervising unarmed security personnel in cleared, high-security environments.
• Strong knowledge of physical security operations, access control, and security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Campus Security Manager with site security services and act as backup.
• Supervise, train, and support unarmed security personnel on site.
• Ensure post orders and procedures align with customer requirements and site protocols.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of security staff.
• Verify licensing, training, and compliance of security personnel with applicable requirements.
• Maintain accountability and security of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure personnel are trained in site security systems and access control.
• Maintain training records, incident logs, and post documentation.
• Prepare for internal and third-party audits, including unannounced inspections.
• Maintain standardized processes and audit-ready documentation.
• Serve as Acting Campus Security Manager as needed.
