Job summary

DDS Companies in Windsor, CO is seeking a safety-focused professional to lead site safety on a 6-month, temporary project. You will own the site's safety culture, drive regulatory compliance, and serve as Competent/Qualified Person as required by OSHA.

The role emphasizes incident management, training oversight, audits, and reporting to the client project team. You must be able to work on-site outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of safety experience in gas utility or heavy construction.
• Natural gas pipeline field safety experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction, CPR/First Aid/AED, Confined Space, HAZWOPER 40-Hour.
• Tap Root training or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and client safety programs.
• Ability to work on site outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Site Safety Leadership: drive safety culture and performance on site.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: ensure OSHA compliance and act as Competent/Qualified Person.
• Training and Workforce Oversight: manage orientations and onboarding.
• Incident Management and Reporting: immediate incident reporting and investigations.
• Auditing and Reporting: conduct safety audits and provide incident summaries.
