Job description

Position Details

Location: Addison, TX (full remote work from anywhere in the U.S.)

Job Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with product and development teams to scale applications and infrastructure, ensuring performance and high availability.
2. Develop systems and software to enhance site reliability and performance, contributing to building an SRE competency within Hilton's Digital organization.
3. Define Service Level Indicators (SLIs) in collaboration with development teams to monitor service health.
4. Monitor production and non-production systems using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
5. Improve CI/CD pipelines by leveraging SLIs and monitorability techniques.
6. Automate testing strategies to establish quality gates for deployments.
7. Scale systems sustainably through automation and implement improvements to reliability and deployment velocity.
8. Travel up to 10% domestically as required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in DevOps, technology, or related roles.
• Experience with software/platform design, CI/CD pipelines, EKS, Bamboo, Jenkins, Docker, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
