Job summary

V2X has a requirement for a Simulator Technician III at Fort Benning, GA. The role performs electronic maintenance on TADSS and GFP, replaces components, tests with multi-meters and oscilloscopes, and adheres to maintenance schedules per manuals and checklists.

The individual works under supervision, providing hands-on maintenance and testing to ensure readiness of training systems at DRSTS. This position requires travel and high safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with high noise and vibration environments.
• Protective clothing and equipment as required.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronic maintenance activities, including resourcing and training.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP.
• Communicate maintenance timelines to the government for staffed/unstaffed sites.
• Ensure maintenance does not conflict with training, exercises, or testing.
• Record maintenance activities in real-time in InSITE.
