Job summary

JBS USA in North Charleston, SC is seeking a detail‑oriented Lead Shipping Coordinator to support daily transloading operations. You will collaborate with drivers, plant teams and the corporate logistics group to ensure accurate scheduling, inventory control and compliant movement of goods.

This salaried role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, SAP and MS Office experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel for work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with bulk commodity strongly preferred.
• Experience in accounting, clerical, or administrative roles preferred.
• Strong computer and spreadsheet skills; experience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to other facilities or events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound orders and paperwork.
• Coordinate inbound schedules with drivers and corporate logistics.
• Maintain inventory using tracking spreadsheets and SAP data entry.
• Manage labeling and storage of inbound/outbound samples for shipment to lab or destinations.
• Track and report accurate inventory records for the Transload warehouse.
• Schedule export bookings and container loading; arrange fumigation/drayage as needed.
• Operate laboratory equipment accurately and report results to the corporate team.
• Answer phones and provide clerical support to departments.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and represent JBS values.
• Maintain open communication with management and corporate team.
