Cardinal Health is seeking a Lead Shipping Associate in La Vergne, TN to supervise daily shipping operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency across the pick, pack and ship process. You will support the supervisor in maintaining compliance with OSHA, DEA, SBOP, FDA regulations, and promote safety, quality, and teamwork within the facility.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and practical knowledge of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills required.
• 4+ years experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Strong leadership skills are essential.

Lead Shipping Associate### Lead Shipping AssociateApply: In-Person: TN-LaVergne-3PL LV1/LV2: Full time: Posted Today: 20189658***What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health***Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. **Shift:** Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm (Overtime when needed) ***Responsibilities**** Works closely with management to maintain receiving standards and ensure that proper processes are followed* Support the supervisor in leading the team’s efforts in adhering to all government (OSHA, DEA, SBOP, FDA) regulations as well as safety, security and cleanliness of the warehouse* Ensures that Cardinal Health’s principles, policies and procedures are consistently practiced* Coordinate workflow to accomplish overall business objectives (i.e., pick, pack and ship on time and accurately, cycle counts, returns, and clean-up).
