Cardinal Health in Durham, NC, is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate (Outbound) to support the Warehouse Supervisor and direct floor activities. You will help manage staff, monitor productivity, and ensure timely shipments with high accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years in a warehouse setting, strong communication skills, and experience with WMS and RF/PIT equipment. Availability for a full-time schedule and occasional Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• High school diploma or degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge helpful.
• Experience with a WMS system and RF equipment.
• Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Training new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate.
• Measuring safety, productivity, and quality standards and ensuring they are met.
• Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all safety requirements.
• Supporting employees in the distribution center in all functions, including unloading trucks and stocking freight.
• Order processing: picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, and loading products.
• Leading team meetings.
• Solving minor issues.
• Working in production as needed.
